Rent-A-Center Sues Over Class Action Settlement Cut

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 1:37 PM EDT) -- Rent-A-Center Texas LP has filed a putative breach of contract class action accusing Class Action Refund LLC, a company that dispenses settlement money, of improperly taking a $68,000 cut from the rent-to-own giant's share of a residual payment from a massive antitrust settlement.
