GAO Shoots Down Eagle's Air Force Bid Protest

Law360, New York (October 26, 2010, 12:25 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied a bid protest by Eagle Aviation Services and Technology Inc., which had argued it was improperly denied an opportunity to amend its failed proposal for operating services at a California Air Force base.

Lynn Gibson, the GAO’s acting general counsel, said in an Oct. 14 ruling that the contracting officer was perfectly within her rights to deny the proposal because Eagle had not followed the submission guidelines.
