Boeing Settles B-1 Bomber Decoy Dispute For $4M

Law360, New York (October 26, 2010, 3:35 PM EDT) -- Boeing Co. has agreed to pay $4 million to settle civil allegations brought by the U.S. government, which accused the company of charging the Air Force too much for a $35 million single-source defense contract for B-1 bomber parts.

U.S. Attorney André Birotte Jr. of the Central District of California announced the deal on Tuesday, saying that the federal government had agreed to dismiss the lawsuit against Boeing, which admitted no wrongdoing.
