AG Probes Subprime, College Loan Markets

Law360 (March 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- New York Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo on Thursday said his office has launched its own investigation into the subprime loan market and wrapped up a separate probe into college-loan program kickbacks.

Cuomo disclosed the subprime loan investigation at a press conference on a separate nationwide probe into college-loan program kickbacks, the National Post reported Friday.
