Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 10:45 AM EST) -- New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo sued Steven L. Rattner on Thursday over a purported $150 million pension kickback scheme, the same day the hedge fund manager agreed to fork over $6.2 million to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to settle allegations related to the pay-to-play scheme.
Cuomo's suit seeks at least $26 million, as well as Rattner's ban from the securities industry in New York, according to the attorney general's office.
