DOJ Delays Discovery In Air Cargo Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 4:01 PM EST) -- A magistrate judge has granted the U.S. Department of Justice's bid to break into multidistrict litigation alleging a widespread price-fixing conspiracy in the air cargo transport industry in order to push back discovery by several months to allow the agency's criminal investigation to proceed unimpeded.

Magistrate Judge Viktor V. Pohorelsky of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Friday granted the DOJ's motion to intervene in the action to obtain a stay of discovery until March 15.
