GAO Boots D&M Protest Of Navy IT Contracts

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 5:53 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has rejected Donnelly & Moore Corp.'s claims that the U.S. Navy improperly awarded another company sole-source contracts worth more than $7.3 million for information technology services in California.

In a Feb. 16 decision released Friday, the GAO rejected D&M's contentions that the Navy violated regulations by not providing the U.S. Small Business Administration with certain information and dividing the required work to award it on a sole-source basis.
