Don Imus Hires First Amendment Lawyer

Law360, New York (May 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former CBS Radio host Don Imus, who lost his job over offensive comments about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, has hired one of the country’s sharpest First Amendment lawyers to represent him in a dispute with his former employer.

Martin Garbus, a partner with Davis & Gilbert LLP, represents Imus in a “dispute” with CBS, according to Garbus’ Web site, which provides no additional details on the matter.
