Feds Pull No Punches In Close Of Rajaratnam Trial

Law360 (April 20, 2011, 3:29 PM EDT) -- The U.S. government launched a two-pronged attack during closing arguments Wednesday in the New York insider trading trial of Raj Rajaratnam, painting a detailed portrait of alleged conspiracies and taking swipes at the defense.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Brodsky outlined several tip-swapping rings the Galleon Group LLC founder is alleged to have led — including with company insiders at Intel Corp., Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc., and with his own employees and former New Castle Partners LLC analyst Danielle Chiesi.
