Freddie Mac Ex-CFO Dodges Part Of Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (May 2, 2011, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday threw out part of a putative shareholder class action that accused ex-Freddie Mac Chief Financial Officer Anthony Piszel of lying to investors.

U.S. District Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum granted Piszel's motion for a partial judgment on the pleadings with two words — “so ordered” — an endorsement handwritten on the one-page document.
