Northrop Grumman Settles $4M Fight With Subcontractor

Law360, New York (May 13, 2011, 6:30 PM EDT) -- U.S. Army contractor Northrop Grumman Corp. on Wednesday settled ViaSat Inc.'s $4.3 million California federal court suit alleging it refused to pay ViaSat in order to manipulate the satellite technology subcontractor into giving up trade secrets.

Northrop and ViaSat did not disclose the terms of the settlement — other than that each party would cover its own costs and attorneys' fees — in a joint motion to dismiss.
