Barrack Rodos Wins Lead Counsel In BofA Securities Row

Law360, New York (June 21, 2011, 1:16 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday appointed Barrack Rodos & Bacine as lead counsel in three class actions accusing Bank of America Corp. of hiding the extent of its exposure to Countrywide Financial Corp.'s shady foreclosure and mortgage securitization practices.

U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III also tapped the Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System as lead plaintiff even though, at $13.4 million, it didn't have the largest loss of the three plaintiffs vying for the role.
