Maguire Sued Over Ponzi-Funded Poker Winnings

Law360, New York (June 22, 2011, 6:19 PM EDT) -- “Spider-Man” movie star Tobey Maguire has been sued in California bankruptcy court over $311,000 he allegedly won in illegal poker games from a hedge fund manager who used money from a $44 million Ponzi scheme to cover gambling losses.
