Ex-Dick's Atty Hit With Guilty Verdict In Kickbacks Case

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 4:12 PM EDT) -- A New York federal jury on Monday found a former Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. attorney guilty on mail fraud and money laundering charges in connection with millions of dollars in kickbacks paid by developers seeking to do business with the company.

Benjamin Viloski, 62, was found guilty on nine counts of mail fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, aiding and abetting money laundering, and making false statements to federal investigators, according to the verdict.
