Law360, New York (August 10, 2011, 6:57 PM EDT) -- Viacom International Inc. on Wednesday resolved a lawsuit against Cablevision Systems Corp. that accused the cable provider of engaging in breach of contract, copyright and trademark infringement, and unfair competition by streaming unauthorized Viacom content on wireless devices like iPads.
“Viacom and Cablevision have agreed to resolve their pending litigation, and the Viacom programming will continue to appear on Cablevision’s Optimum Apps for iPad and other IP devices,” the companies said in a joint statement.
