AstraZeneca Hit With Wage-And-Hour Suit

Law360, New York (June 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP was hit with a proposed wage-and-hour class action Wednesday, which joined similar suits against the pharmaceutical giant in at least three other states.

Timothy Carson, a former AstraZeneca sales representative in New York state, filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on behalf of AstraZeneca employees who he said AstraZeneca deliberately misclassified in order to avoid paying overtime wages.
