Pentagon Contracting Official Nabbed In Bribery Sting

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 5:43 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Department of Defense official was arrested Wednesday in Georgia after allegedly taking nearly $100,000 in cash bribes in exchange for the award of repair and maintenance contracts in Afghanistan, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

Desi Deandre Wade, 39, of Climax, Ga., was scheduled to appear in Georgia federal court Thursday after his arrest on a federal bribery charge, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
