Judge Thins Time Warner P2P Access Suit

Law360, New York (September 7, 2011, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge trimmed most claims Tuesday from a proposed class action claiming Time Warner Inc.'s Road Runner Internet service intentionally interfered with customers' ability to use peer-to-peer services such as Skype.

U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain dismissed seven claims including unjust enrichment and breach of contract with leave to amend, one claim without leave to amend, and upheld damages and access elements of a Computer Fraud and Abuse Act claim.
