Alleged Hacker Arrested For Sony Data Breach

Law360, New York (September 22, 2011, 7:09 PM EDT) -- A suspected member of hacking collective LulzSec was arrested Thursday for allegedly helping to attack the computer systems of Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. and steal confidential information.

Cody Kretsinger, a 23-year-old from Tempe, Ariz., was charged with unauthorized impairment of a protected computer and conspiracy in California federal court. The grand jury indictment came down Sept. 2 and was unsealed Thursday after Kretsinger's arrest, which the FBI said had occurred without incident.
