Tobey Maguire Exits Suit Over Ponzi-Funded Poker Booty

Law360, New York (November 23, 2011, 3:14 PM EST) -- “Spider-Man” star Tobey Maguire will pay $80,000 to settle a lawsuit in California bankruptcy court claiming he won $311,200 in illegal poker games from a hedge fund manager charged with covering gambling losses with Ponzi scheme money, according to court filings Wednesday.
