Plaintiffs Pursue DAS Cargo In Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (July 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Amid the last year’s spate of air cargo price-fixing litigation, one of the slew of airline defendants has slipped through the cracks, and plaintiffs are seeking a default judgment for its failure to respond to the complaint.

According to a motion filed Monday in the eastern New York district court, Uganda-based carrier DAS Air Ltd. has not responded to a summons and complaint the plaintiffs served and has failed to enter a plea or defense to it.
