Microsoft, Datel Make Peace In Xbox IP, Antitrust Row

Law360, New York (January 4, 2012, 8:02 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. and Datel Design & Development Inc. on Friday settled their patent and antitrust battle over video game controllers and accessories for Microsoft's Xbox 360 video game system.

The companies filed stipulations in California and Washington federal courts asking the judges to dismiss their respective cases. Further details on the settlement were not immediately available.

“The parties have entered into a confidential settlement to the satisfaction of both parties,” a Microsoft spokesman confirmed Wednesday.
