Lehman Loses Bid To Block Zell's Archstone Offer

Law360, New York (January 6, 2012, 7:02 PM EST) -- A New York bankruptcy judge on Friday rejected Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s attempt to block Sam Zell from trying to buy part of Archstone, an apartment company co-owned by Lehman, potentially forcing Lehman to pay more to stop a portion of the company from falling into Zell's hands.
