PBGC, Sony Pictures Tapped For Kodak Creditors Committee

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 6:52 PM EST) -- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. and five other creditors were appointed Wednesday to a committee in Eastman Kodak Co.'s bankruptcy that is charged with representing the interests of unsecured creditors as the Chapter 11 case moves forward in New York bankruptcy court.

While several film studios are on a list of Kodak's largest 50 creditors, Sony holds the biggest of the studios' claims at $16.7 million. The PBGC could also have a large claim based on possible cuts to Kodak's pension plans...
