Both Sides In WTC Case Ask For Summary Judgment

Law360 (July 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Parties on both sides of a complicated dispute over liability for the destruction of the World Trade Center moved for summary judgment on Tuesday, with several insurance companies arguing that their plans did not cover the buildings.

The case, one of several to arise from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, turns on whether or not real estate developer Larry Silverstein had indemnified certain World Trade Center properties, exempting them from insurance coverage.
