Cumulus Strikes Deal With Account Execs in OT Case

Law360, Washington (February 7, 2012, 5:15 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Monday granted preliminary approval of a class action settlement between a subsidiary of major radio operator Cumulus Media Inc. and a group of former advertising employees over allegations of unpaid overtime and business expenses.

Cumulus Media Partners Susquehanna Corp. has agreed to pay up to $923,133 to account executives who alleged in a lawsuit first filed in 2010 that they weren't paid overtime or business expenses nor were they paid on time from 2006 to 2012. Judge Edward M. Chen also...
