WaMu Fails In Attempt To Kill State Claims

Law360 (July 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge on Thursday denied Washington Mutual Inc.’s request to dismiss state law claims in a proposed FLSA class action brought on behalf of loan consultants, ruling that the legal doctrine cited by the bank in its motion to dismiss for violation of the Rules Enabling Act was “imaginary.”
