DRAM Counsel Seek Approval Of $67M Samsung Deal

Law360 (August 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Class counsel representing the direct purchasers in their massive antitrust action over DRAM technology have asked a federal court to grant final approval of defendant Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s $67 million settlement in the case.

In Thursday’s proposed order, the plaintiffs’ attorneys requested that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California give Samsung’s deal the green light, just one day after the court had issued final approval of three other chip makers’ $22 million settlement.
