AT&T, Verizon, Others Escape Antitrust Class Action

Law360, New York (March 1, 2012, 4:00 PM EST) -- A California federal judge tossed a putative antitrust class action over multimedia messaging brought by multimedia content owners and producers against AT&T Mobility LLC, Verizon Wireless and others Thursday, finding that the plaintiffs lacked standing to bring antitrust claims against participants in a different market.
