HSBC Bank Tries To Quash ERISA Evidence

Law360, New York (August 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- SBC Bank and Getzler Henrich & Associates LLC have sought to prevent expert testimony and to limit the admissibility of evidence suggesting that they owe wages and pension plan contributions to the plaintiffs.

The bank and the restructuring firm separately filed their objections Friday in limine in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

They are being sued by employees of a computer consulting company, Silverline Technologies Ltd, of which the defendants assumed control in 2002, under the Employee Retirement Income Security...
