Firms Vie To Be Lead Counsel In Telik Fraud Case

Law360 (August 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- No fewer than eight groups of plaintiffs suing a biopharmaceutical company and several prominent financial companies for securities fraud on Monday asked to have their cases consolidated, with each group seeking appointment as lead counsel in the purported class action.

The plaintiffs, all of which invested in Telik Inc. between March 23, 2003 and June 4, 2007, filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of themselves and others similarly situated.
