Sony Asks 9th Circ. For Final Nail In 'Funeral' IP Suit

Law360, New York (April 13, 2012, 8:21 PM EDT) -- A woman looking to revive an allegedly frivolous copyright suit against Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. over the Chris Rock movie “Death at a Funeral” hasn't been able to point to any errors in the lower court's rulings, Sony told the Ninth Circuit on Thursday.
