Oracle, Google Spar Over Copyrightability As Battle Rages

Law360, New York (May 10, 2012, 9:49 PM EDT) -- Oracle Corp. and Google Inc. traded blows Thursday over whether Oracle's Java software is even worthy of copyright protection, with both companies claiming support from a ruling by Europe's highest court, in a hotly-contested case some observers say could stretch to a second trial.
