Oracle Can't Flip Noninfringement Ruling In Google IP Fight

Law360, New York (May 30, 2012, 8:06 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday refused to grant Oracle Corp.'s bid for a judgment that would reverse a jury’s recent finding that Google Inc. did not infringe two of its mobile device patents, saying the jury came to its conclusion reasonably.

“There was sufficient evidence at trial to support the jury’s finding of noninfringement,” U.S. District Judge William Alsup said in an order.
