Calif. Ruling Shakes Up Employment Class Waiver Landscape

Law360, New York (June 5, 2012, 10:36 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Monday found that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in AT&T Mobility LLC v. Concepcion trumped a state precedent that discouraged class action waivers in employment cases, in a ruling attorneys say could upend the state's employee-friendly position on arbitration.
