Dynegy Pays $10M To Settle ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (September 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Texas federal court judge has approved a $10 million class action settlement between Dynegy Inc. and employees of the company's former subsidiary who invested in the energy provider's stock.

U.S. District Judge Ewing Werlein of the Southern District of Texas on Friday authorized the settlement, which could go towards more than 1,900 participants and beneficiaries of a retirement plan sponsored by Dynegy. The fund will also pay class attorneys and cover costs for administering the settlement.
