Ex-NBA Coach Targets State Farm Over Weak Defense

Law360, New York (July 20, 2012, 7:03 PM EDT) -- A former NBA player and coach of the Houston Rockets on Thursday lobbed a breach of contract suit at State Farm Lloyds Inc. in California court after the insurer backed out of defending him from allegations that he sold a $6.5 million Los Angeles mansion without disclosing significant damage to the property.
