Pentagon Families Cut Deal Over 9/11 Liability

Law360 (October 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of families whose relatives were killed on Sept. 11, 2001 while working inside the Pentagon have settled their lawsuits against the airlines and security firms that allegedly shirked their duties by failing to prevent the terrorist attacks.

On Wednesday, plaintiffs' firm Azrael Gann & Fanz revealed that four Pentagon families, along with one World Trade Center family, had reached a confidential detente with American Airlines and a host of other defendants.
