Judge Says Bloomberg Director's Bias Suit Belongs In UK

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 10:17 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Friday tossed a sexual orientation discrimination suit brought by a former managing director at Bloomberg LP's television division, ruling that the claims should be litigated in England according to the employment contract.

U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman said the employment agreement Brian Anthony Martinez signed when he relocated to the U.K. in 2005 gave English courts exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the contract.
