Networks Follow Fox In Suing Online TV Streaming Site

Law360, New York (August 13, 2012, 7:33 PM EDT) -- NBCUniversal Media LLC, American Broadcasting Cos. Inc. and CBS Broadcasting Inc. joined Fox Broadcasting Co. Inc. in suing website BarryDriller Inc. in California on Monday, saying that the live television streaming offered by the website infringed the networks' copyrights. 

BarryDriller — a new website launched Aug. 7 — offers subscribers live Internet streaming of network programs, including hit shows such as "Glee" and "The Simpsons" without proper authorization or licensing, according to the complaint Fox filed on Friday.
