Calif. Ruling May Boost NFL's Shot At Concussion Coverage

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 9:12 PM EDT) -- The National Football League sued dozens of insurers Wednesday to score coverage for lawsuits more than 3,000 football players brought over brain injuries — a dispute the league will fight to keep in California, experts say, especially on the heels of the California Supreme Court's recent pro-policyholder ruling on coverage for long-tail claims.
