DOJ Blasts Challenges To E-Books Price-Fixing Settlements

Law360, New York (August 23, 2012, 5:21 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice on Wednesday urged the federal judge overseeing its e-books price-fixing case to ignore pleas for the digital industry to get special treatment under the antitrust laws, arguing that the opposition to its settlements with three publishers was baseless.
