Fox May Be Pushing Ex-Interns To Stay Out Of Wage Suit

Law360, New York (August 24, 2012, 8:53 PM EDT) -- Movie studio Fox Searchlight Pictures Inc. may be trying to coerce former interns into not joining a putative class action seeking money for their unpaid gigs, lawyers for the plaintiffs told a New York federal judge Friday.

Former interns have reported that the studio sent out an email aimed at steering them away from joining the suit, Rachel M. Bien of Outten & Golden LLP said at a hearing before U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III.
