Sprint, Qwest Pay $6.6M To Settle Landowners' Cable Suits

Law360, New York (October 3, 2012, 3:32 PM EDT) -- Sprint Communications Co. LP and Qwest Communications Co. LLC on Tuesday agreed to pay more than $6 million to end class actions brought by landowners in Oregon and South Carolina, adding to a growing list of settlements over the installation of fiber-optic telecommunications systems on private property.
