NJ Comes Out Swinging Against Federal Sports Gambling Ban

Law360, New York (October 4, 2012, 9:18 PM EDT) -- New Jersey has gone all in to defend its law allowing sports gambling against a challenge by professional leagues and the NCAA, and while it may face an uphill battle in overcoming a federal ban on such wagering, attorneys say the state has constitutional arguments in its playbook that could earn it a win.
