AT&T Sued Over Phone Incompatibility

Law360, New York (October 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a purported class action filed Wednesday against AT&T Inc., plaintiffs said their phones stopped working after the company merged with Cingular Wireless, despite assurance from the company that this would not happen, and that AT&T failed to inform them of moves that could be taken to make their phones network accessible, leaving them with no options but to buy new phones.
