Navy Officials, Defense Contractors Sentenced In $6M Fraud

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 3:33 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday sentenced seven people to prison or probation over a fraud and corruption scheme in which the U.S. Department of Defense paid more than $6 million in bogus defense contracts that netted certain U.S. Navy officials over $1 million in bribes.
