ATM Operators Want Out Of $7B Visa, MasterCard Fee Deal

Law360, New York (November 6, 2012, 9:04 PM EST) -- A group of independent ATM operators asked a New York federal court Monday to exclude them from a proposed $7.25 billion settlement in multidistrict litigation accusing Visa Inc. and MasterCard Inc. of colluding on interchange fees, saying the settlement could threaten their claims in another suit against the credit card giants.
