J2 Puts Up $167M For Tech Publisher Ziff Davis

Law360, New York (November 13, 2012, 1:54 PM EST) -- Business cloud services provider j2 Global Inc. paid $167 million for Ziff Davis Inc., the publisher of several tech-focused media outlets and their Web-based assets, lifting ownership from Boston-based private equity firm Great Hill Partners and a former Time Inc. executive.
