Business Watchdog Loses Bid To Nix False Ad Class Action

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 3:13 PM EST) -- A California appellate court Monday rejected the Better Business Bureau of the Southland's attempts to dismiss a homeowner advocacy group's false advertising class action alleging the BBB demanded fees to boost "unbiased" business ratings, saying the nonprofit can’t evade the suit on free speech grounds.
